Restless Heart will be going live at the Riverside when the legendary band records their first live album during their Sept. 26-Oct. 1 engagement. The band plans to include several of their top hits plus some new material in the recording. The 8 p.m. shows are $25, call 1-800-227-3849.

After a decade of blazing a trail of hit songs and dominating the charts from 1985 - 1994 with four gold albums and 15 Top Ten hits, Restless Heart parted ways for what they believed to be the last time in 1994. Now the reunited quintet has risen from the ashes of its own demise stronger, wiser and with a rush of creative energy and diversity that manifested itself on Restless Heart's first studio release together in 14 years, "Still Restless."

Today the quintet continues to lead the pack by choosing songs of conviction and maturity and to record with innovative creativity.

Rates at the Riverside are reasonable, $39-$49 Sunday through Thursday and $79-$89 Friday and Saturday.

Kenny Loggins will be taking center stage at the Rio Vista Outdoor Amphitheater at Harrah's on Oct. 7 at 9 p.m. Tickets start at $25, call 1-800-447-8700.

On Sept. 7, singer-songwriter and guitarist Loggins joined the line-up of Grammy Award-winning artists performing on the new FOX series, "Celebrity Duets." Partnered with actress Lucy Lawless ("Xena: Warrior Princess") the pair performed "Whenever I Call You Friend" and "Footloose."

Loggins' commercial impact has been extraordinary; 12 of his albums have gone platinum and he has enjoyed hit songs in four straight decades. He started his career with a stint as a guitarist for The Electric Prunes, then scored a job as a $100-a-week staff songwriter and penned four songs for the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band in 1970.

Loggins caught the attention of former Buffalo Springfield producer and Poco member Jim Messina and did an album with him in 1972. When Loggins & Messina split up in 1976, Loggins achieved solo stardom.

In the 80s, Loggins became more famous than ever as the king of the movie theme songs, thanks to massive smashes like "I'm Alright" from "Caddyshack," "Footloose," "Danger Zone" from "Top Gun," and "Nobody's Fool" from "Caddyshack II."

In 2005, Loggins reunited with his former partner Messina. The Sittin' In Again tour allowed Loggins to rediscover an old friendship and now he's solo again.

This month the Bowling Center at the Riverside returned to winter hours, Sunday to Thursday 8 a.m. to noon, Friday and Saturday 8 a.m. to 2 a.m.

Effective today, the daily winter hours for the Prime Rib Room are 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. and for the Gourmet Room 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. In addition, the prime rib dinner will also be $11.99 per person in the Prime Rib Room.

In June, Rogers celebrated his 51st Top 20 hit single with "I Can't Unlove You," which was his first Top 20 hit in seven years. This was his first single from his first studio album in three years, "Water & Bridges."

The fourth annual Laughlin Senior Olympics will take place Oct. 19-22. The Laughlin games will continue to have a major emphasis on friendly competition, since they are not a state, regional, nor a national qualifier. All medallions will be presented on-site at the completion of the event or meet. Olympic style medals will be awarded to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place finishers in each competitive event, for each gender, division, and age category offered, when applicable.
