Grand Canyon West and the Ramada Express are partnering to offer "A Daytime Of Cultural Adventure, An Evening Of Excitement" travel package.
Located two hours northwest of Laughlin, Grand Canyon West is owned and operated by the Hualapai Tribe and offers visitors breathtaking panoramic views at Grand Canyon's western rim. Their portion of the package includes a rustic cultural experience via a Hop-on Hop-off Shuttle System throughout three viewing areas - Eagle Point, Guano Point and Hualapai Ranch. The Spirit package includes photo opportunities with Hualapai members in native dress, a wagon ride and a meal choice of Hualapai Barbecue or Western Town Cowboy Cookout.
The Hualapai Ranch is a true western experience with wild-west performances and wagon rides, as well as a gift shop with western clothing, jewelry and souvenirs. Horseback rides along the Grand Canyon Rim are available for additional fees.
Eagle Point includes The Skywalk construction site and Indian Village, which offer guided walking tours of authentic dwellings of the Hualapai, Havasupai, Navajo, Plains and Hopi Indians. The village includes an amphitheatre with scheduled Native American cultural performances throughout the day. The Skywalk will be the first-ever cantilever-shaped glass bridge suspended more than 4,000 feet above the Colorado River and the featured attraction when it opens this winter.
The package also includes overnight accommodations at the Ramada Express with breakfast in the Roundhouse Buffet, and a fun sheet with special values. One night is $80 and two nights are$100 per person, Sunday through Thursday, and $17 per person more on weekends. Pricing is based on per person double occupancy.
