New renovations have been under way at the Riverside Lanes with recently installed new carpet that starts from the North Tower entrance and continues throughout the entire bowling center. A new upgraded scoring system that will be featured on flat screen monitors is also being installed. In addition, the pin backdrop and new pins will add to the bowling experience.

Featuring fun for all ages, from cosmic bowling to birthday packages, the Riverside Lanes offers a full-service pro shop, 34 lanes and a snack bar. LeBoeuf attended Rutgers University and his first major entertainment break was landing the role of Paul McCartney in Broadway's smash hit "Beatlemania." After two years on Broadway, LeBoeuf moved to Nashville and formed "Baillie and The Boys" with former band mates Michael Bonagura and Kathie Baillie. Baillie and The Boys signed with RCA and had seven straight top ten hits on the country charts. After two successful albums, LeBoeuf left the band to tour with "Legends in Concert" and "Beatlemania."

LeBoeuf has written songs for Sawyer Brown, The Shooters, and the movie soundtrack to "Head On" starring Sally Kellerman.

David Leon starred in the Broadway and motion picture productions of "Beatlemania" as John Lennon. His group was the first one hired in Los Angeles to take over for the Broadway cast. The show played at the Shubert Theater and the Pantages before touring extensively in the United States, Canada, Japan, Australia, and South America. After the initial run of "Beatlemania," Leon started his own band, Helmet Boy, which recorded an album in 1981. Since then, David has played keyboards and guitar with such famous classic rock acts as Mitch Ryder, Badfinger, Herman's Hermits, Tiny Tim, The Classics 4, Box Tops and The Rembrandts.

David Brighton is a vocalist, guitarist and songwriter who portrays George Harrison. Since 1994, he has also enjoyed the hysteria that has gone along with portraying the former Beatle in a number of the world's leading Beatle tribute acts.

Carroll "Beaver" Parker rounds out the foursome playing Ringo, which he has done in many Beatle tribute shows.

The Horizon Outlet Center on the main drag Casino Center Drive has been sold to The Prescott Group, LLC. The deal included six properties with the other five being out of state.

American singer and songwriter Cross was born Christopher Geppert on May 3, 1951 in San Antonio, Texas. He first played with an Austin-based cover band named Flash before signing a solo contract with Warner Bros. He is best known for composing "Arthur's Theme (Best That You Can Do)" from the film "Arthur" starring Dudley Moore and Liza Minnelli. This song won the Oscar for Best Original Song in 1981 with co-composers Burt Bacharach, Carole Bayer Sager and Peter Allen.

Cross released his self-titled debut album "Christopher Cross" in 1979, which garnered him five Grammy Awards and featured the songs "Sailing" and "Ride Like the Wind." He is, along with Norah Jones, the only artist to receive all of the "Big Four" Grammy Awards (Best Record, Song, Album, and New Artist).

His second album, "Another Page," which came out in 1982, included the hit song "Think of Laura." Many people associate "Think of Laura" with the Luke and Laura plotline of the soap opera, "General Hospital," which was very popular at the time, but it was actually written about a friend of Christopher's girlfriend at the time named Laura who killed by a stray bullet while riding in the back of a car.

National icon Willie Nelson has been staying musically current and relevant. Nelson performed a duet with Toby Keith on the song "Beer for my Horses" from Keith's "Unleashed" album released in 2002. This song was released as a single in 2003 and Nelson shot a video with Keith that year. It won an award for "Best Video" at the Academy of Country Music Awards in 2004.

In 2006, Julio Iglesias recorded Willie's hit "Always on my mind" for his upcoming "Romantic Classics" album, due out Sept. 19. This song was recorded 20 years after Iglesias and Nelson teamed up for the tune "To All The Girls I've Loved Before."

The Ramada Express $5 and $10 video poker machines had more than $274,000. in jackpots paid out during the last week of July. One lucky local player won $80,000. and two separate $40,000 jackpots were paid on back-to-back days. Another winner, Alexandra P. of Apple Valley, Calif., scored a $20,960 jackpot on a $5 video poker machine in Grand Junction Premium Lounge.
