"The Rat Pack Tribute" features the extraordinary talents of Michael Levin as Frank Sinatra, Bryan Clark as Sammy Davis, Jr. and Rick Michel as Dean Martin. These accomplished entertainers skillfully blend musical performances with witty repartee and soft-shoe dance routines. Accompanied by a 12-piece band, the performers transport the audience to a time when three talented men, handheld microphones and martini glasses brought the best of music, comedy and chemistry to the stage.

Levin has performed in a variety of venues across the United States and internationally. He has headlined in David Cassidy's "The Rat Pack is Back" showcased at the Sahara in Las Vegas. He has also appeared with artists such as singer Donna Summers and comedians Jeff Foxworthy and Paul Rodriquez.

Favoring swing and Motown music and celebrity impressions, Clark recreates the styles of performers such as Johnny Mathis, Tom Jones, Ray Charles, and, of course, Sammy Davis, Jr.

Michel, performer and Laff Productions, Inc. president, has entertained audiences for nearly three decades. He teamed with Levin and Clark to bring "Frank, Sammy, Dean: The Rat Pack Tribute" to the stage. Marrying his talents for music, comedy and impressions, Michel brings a suave Dean Martin to the stage. Michel landed his first singing role in "Grease" and had his first Las Vegas performance at the Tropicana Hotel in 1981. Since 1989, he has continuously performed on Las Vegas stages, appeared with comedian Rich Little, and opened for entertainers such as Rita Rudner, George Wallace, and Bobby Collins.

For the past five years, the Caboose Lounge at the Ramada Express has been home for Irish entertainer Pat O'Brien. Recently, the one-man band moved across the street to the Aquarius Resort's new Splash Cabaret. His free show will run through April 15. His hours are Wednesday through Sunday from 4:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

O'Brien began his musical career at the age of 8 in a choir and started playing guitar with a rockabilly band. He studied music in Manchester, England, and performed in "Jesus Christ superstar" for years. His career includes playing in big bands in the 60s, having his own band a couple of times, and performing in a show band in Toronto, Canada, for years.

O'Brien is using his five-month stint in Laughlin to work on new music. He began his solo career in Chicago with the Fox organization in 1976 and perfected his one-man show by exploring computerized music.

Big band music will prevail at the Avi Banquet & Convention Center with The Harry James Orchestra on Saturday, Jan. 20 with a 7 p.m. concert. Tickets are $12. The next week on Jan. 29, the "Big Band Dance" will take place at the Riverside in Don's Celebrity Theater on Monday, Jan. 29 from 5 to 9 p.m. Tickets are $15 with hors d'ouevres included.

The Dance Club at the Riverside is featuring Tom & Sharon's Ballroom, Latin and Swing Dance Party on Jan. 27, Feb. 10, 24, March 17 and 31. The Saturday dance events are from 1:30 p.m. to 4 p.m. For information, call 928-754-2097 or 702-298-2535, ext. 5708.

Renowned vocalist and bandleader, Jeff Allen joins the cast of "Country Music USA" live in concert for new shows at the Ramada Express. This showman can wear many hats playing a country superstar or a down-home country boy. In addition to opening the show with lively renditions of Hank Williams, John Denver, and Elvis Presley tunes, Allen also leads the Country Music USA All-Star Band.

Concert dates are Saturday-Wednesday, Jan. 13-17, Feb. 17-22, Feb. 24-March 1, April 14-19, and 22-25. Tickets for the 8 p.m. shows are $19, call 888-888-8695. New Distinguished Players Club Members who earn 50 points receive two free tickets.

"Country Music USA" showcases performance artists as they transform into some of music's biggest stars: Garth Brooks, Shania Twain, Brooks & Dunn, and Patsy Cline.

Allen the newcomer to the show is a seasoned performer with a career spanning over three decades. As bandleader for country great Tanya Tucker, Allen made a variety of television appearances, including "CMA Music Awards," "Arsenio Hall," and "Good Morning America." He also performed with Shania Twain and sang on the MDA Telethon.

Eric York performs as Garth Brooks and also as Kix Brooks of the world-famous country duo Brooks & Dunn. Ronnie Lee as Ronnie Dunn bears an incredible likeness to the real performer. Lynn McDaniel has wowed audiences with her uncanny vocal impressions of Shania Twain and Patsy Cline.
